According to a FAQ posted on the Slinkware blog, the Mac App Store version of Slink is 'almost identical to the Slinkware Store version.'
'The major differences are: 1) different licensing terms, and 2) the Mac App Store version will not support Slink running as a menu bar item only,' the company explains.
Apple is known to disapprove of any type of under-featured, lite / trial / demo versions of all Mac apps that go through its net.
Still, Slinkware trusts that 'the Mac App store will revolutionize the way that apps are purchased and this will be great for both consumers and developers.'
